[Last night in the U.S.]
Dear Friends,
I’m thinking of you.
I haven’t posted my moments for a while and I can’t believe it’s already the last night here in the U.S.
Let me update what we were doing recently.
We went to the vet and got an international health certificate last Tuesday. We went to USDA Vet Service Office in Lansing to get endorsement the following day. We showed our cats’ pictures to the officer. She said that Dan is so handsome and Mei is sweet. We felt so proud of our cats. Haha!
We sold our car yesterday to a perfect buyer. My husband and I both felt he is the right one for the car. The boy bought the car with his own scholarship in order to do his summer internship. And his parents are so warm and nice. I learned how to do test drive professionally. They also showed us how close mother and son can be with each other.
We went to a local PNC bank branch this morning to wire money back to Taiwan. We met a kind and sweet manager. She totally went beyond and above. She helped us not only wire the money but also tell us how to avoid the management fee. In other words, she taught us how to manage the account since we can’t close it at this point.
And the money arrived Taiwan less than 12 hours!! Technology is amazing!
For the household kinds of stuff, like furniture or kitchen items, we sold them on Facebook and some Wechat groups. Every buyer was very nice.
We will head to Chicago tomorrow and fly directly to Taiwan.
I believe that “Everything happens for a reason.” I’m grateful for getting to know every you during the journey.
You made me feel special. I’m thinking of our encounters at this moment and I will keep the joy and gratitude with me when I move toward my next adventure.
Thank you and let us stay in touch. If you need any help of selling things on the internet or anything relating to daily life, like saving money, house rental, car rental, or how to bring your cats with you back to Taiwan. Feel free to send me a message. I’m here to share my experiences and always happy to help.
Thank you again & See you very soon!
