Today is the first day of ESL class. I was so excited to meet some former classmates and some new classmates.

We took a listening assessment as a pretest. It took us 45 minutes. I found it was exactly the same test I did at the beginning and the end of last semester.

I was a little confused. Why did our teacher give us the same test again?

After the test, we began to introduce ourselves to everybody in the class. My classmates are from all over the world! They came from Algeria, Brazil, China, Colombia, Guinea, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Kuwait, Pakistan, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Venezuela, Vietnam.

The class is going to be very interesting!
